Army Players of the Week

The Army Black Knights fell to Rutgers, 27-12, on Saturday. Each week honors an offensive, defensive, and unsung hero of the game. Look inside to see who gets the honors this week.

OFFENSE: Davyd Brooks

Brooks, a senior wide receiver from Newburgh, N.Y., caught three passes for 35 yards including an long catch of 23 yards.

DEFENSE: Thomas Holloway

Holloway, a sophomore safety from Birmingham, Ala., finished the game with 14 tackles. In the fourth quarter Holloway intercepted a Rutgers pass and returned it 19 yards to set up Army's final touchdown.

UNSUNG HERO AWARD: Jordan Pleasants

Pleasants, a senior offensive guard from Dallas, Texas, provided a solid blocking effort against one of the top defensive sack units in college football. Pleasants efforts helped limit the Rutgers defense to just one sack on the day. Recommended Stories
