Commitment Spotlight: Nate Guidry

Nate Guidry, out of Forth Worth's Arlington Height High School, became the latest Army commitment of the 2012 class. The Black Knights coaching staff officially offered the 6-foot-1, 185-pound safety in mid-October. Guidry originally had planned on committing to Kansas State, but is excited with the new change of direction.

"Kansas State was going to be it," said Nate Guidry. "I had made my mind up, but then they stopped calling me. Coach (Michael) Smith said he was going to visit, but he never came. "Army offered me a full ride, and I decided to give them my verbal. I know the lifestyle is something I'm going to have to adapt to, but I think it's a great decision."
