Why Army: "The first thing was the chance to play with my brother, Shane, who is a sophomore defensive tackle, and my friend, Dan Muenzer, who's at Prep. The coaches are really cool, and they did a great job recruiting me. I want to be a Paratrooper and thought going Army instead of Air Force would be appropriate in pursing that. Also, it's great to be going to West Point in the first place. It's such a prestigious place. It's West Point!"

Strengths/Improvements: "For one I'm usually stronger than anyone I go against. I'm always in the weight room. I have a good combination of speed and strength. People have told me I have a quick first step off the ball. If I get the jump on my man I can get by him nearly one hundred percent of the time."

Official Visit: 1/08/12 Hosted by Mitch McKearn.
Recruiter: Joe Ross

More: A three-year starter, Finnane led the St. Edward Green Wave to their first playoff win in school history as a junior. He also wrestles in the heavyweight classification. Finnane will enroll directly in the U.S. Military Academy this year and hopes to compete for playing time as a freshman for the Black Knights.
