Coach discusses Army commit Andrew McLean

The Black Knights received their 2nd commitment for the 2013 recruiting class with a verbal pledge from Andrew McLean last Wednesday. The the 6-foot-3, 240-pound defensive lineman, who plays at Broomfield (Colo.) High School in the Denver metro area, took two summer trips to West Point before making his decision. His head coach, Gary Davies, believes Army is getting a good one.

"Andrew became a starter for us as a sophomore which isn't normal here," said Coach Davies. "Broomfield's a big school. His first year on varsity we used him at outside linebacker, then moved him and had him put his hand on the ground last year.
