The Army Black Knights (1-5) travel to Ypsilanti, Michigan for the third time in four years to face the winless Eastern Michigan Eagles. The reason for the scheduling quirk with the Black Knights having to play EMU three straight times on the road without a return trip is that former Army athletic director Kevin Anderson wanted to help the Eagle program which was struggling with attendance.
