Can Army end the winless streak?

On December 6, 2002 Army led its all-time series with Navy 49-46-7. Now, 10 years later, the storied rivalry's all-time record has the Midshipmen leading 56-49-7. That's ten times in a row the Black Knights have fallen to rival Navy. With players like Trent Steelman, Raymond Maples, and Nate Combs- Army could be primed to end the wretched losing steak.
The Black Knights came close to pulling off a win last year in our nation's capital. However, close is not good enough. In that 27-21 loss Army was its own worst enemy turning the ball over several times to allow the Mids to escape with another win.
Turnovers, particularly fumbles, have been the Achilles' heel for the Black Knights in both the 2011 and 2012 seasons. If Army can keep its wits, play smart and not turn the ball over December 8th could be a memorable day. If not, we'll likely being looking at consecutive loss No. 11 to Navy.
