Billy East: Army the perfect fit

Army wide receiver coach Andy Guyader utilized his Southern California roots and brought in one of the top targets in this year's recruiting class in Billy East. East, a 5-foot-10, 185-pound athlete did it all for Coach Mike Vogt at Buchanan High School in Clovis, Calif. during his senior season. He believes the U.S. Military Academy is getting something special in East.

"For us he was a hybrid running back and wide receiver," said Mike Vogt. "He's a multidimensional athlete who can do good things after the catch. He's also very explosive at running back.
