Army basketball started the week with a short trip to face Dartmouth (3-11, 0-1 Ivy League). The Black Knights were led by Ella Ellis who scored 15 points. Freshman guard Kyle Toth was second on the team with nine points but Army was unable to overcome a 44-27 rebound disadvantage.
Dartmouth had five players score in double digits and were led by sophomore forward John Golden who scored 13 points and added eight rebounds.
Sophomore Gabas Maldunas also scored 13 points and the Big Green hit ten three pointers to keep the game out of reach for the Black Knights.
On Saturday
Army
traveled to Bucknell (14-3, 1-0 Patriot) and fell to the Bison 76-55. Ellis again led the Black Knights scoring 17 points, whiling hitting 6-of-9 from the field. Freshman forward Larry Toomey was second on the team with 10 points and no other Cadet scored in double digits. Freshman center
Kevin Ferguson
led Army with seven rebounds and four points off the bench. It was a historic day for senior forward
Ella Ellis
who became the 12th player in Army history to score 1,300 career points. Bison forward Joe Willman who was 8-of-12 from the field scoring 18 points. Senior

led Bucknell with with a double-double scoring 20 points with 13 rebounds.
On Wednesday the Black Knights return home for a conference match up against Lafayette (8-10, 1-0 Patriot). Lafayette is led by sophomore guard Seth Hinrichs who averages 14.4 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. Sophomore forward Dan Trist is second on the team averaging 14 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. The Leopards are riding a two game winning streak after pulling out a hard fought win against Penn that saw senior guard Tony Johnson score 25 points with four rebounds.
Army will end their week with a Sunday match up against
Navy
(6-11, 0-1 Patriot). The Midshipmen are on a five game losing streak and will face off with Holy Cross on Wednesday before they meet the Black Knights. Navy is led by freshman guard
Tilman Dunbar
who averages 10.6 points per game and leads Navy with 90 assists. Sophomore guard
Brandon Venturini
is second on the team averaging 10.2 points per game.
Venturini is a big threat to take shots behind the arc with a team high 44-of-114 from 3-point range.
