Virginia DB commits to West Point

A month ago Richard Hanson went to the one-day West Point camp and solidified his offer with a position MVP performance. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound defensive back from Prince George, Va. said he knew when Coach Jeff Monken offered him on that visit that he would eventually commit to the program. He did so this week to area recruiter, Jay Bateman.

"When I was there for camp [at west Point] they told a few of us to come back for a special tour," Hanson told ArmySports.com. "I went off-campus for about ten minutes and came back and took the tour. After the tour, I was invited into Coach Monken's office and that's when I received the offer.
