Army outscored Tulane 10-0 in the second half and went on to beat Tulane 20-17 in overtime. A miraculous last second 36-yard scoring reception thrown by backup quarterback Kevin Dunn to Mike Wright enabled to Cadets to get the game to overtime. Owen Tolson's 25-yard field goal gave Army a 20-17 lead. Then the Army defense forced a missed Tulane field goal to pick up their 3rd win of the season.
