Even. Army's rushing attack has struggled all season averaging just a paltry 80 yards per game. Freshman Patrick Mealy leads the way for the Black Knights averaging 30 yards per game but he only had one carry against Tulsa. Navy gives up about 180 yards a game on the ground. Defensive back Wyatt Middleton leads the Mids in tackles, averaging 7 per game.

Army gets the edge here. Navy's passing defense has been defenseless of late. Quarterback Giovanni Vizza of struggling North Texas lit up the Mids three weeks ago to the tune of 478 yards and EIGHT (8) touchdowns. Carson Williams and Army have struggled at times through the air but Williams threw for 328 yards against Tulsa and should be able to exploit the Navy defenders.

Certainly Navy gets the edge here. The Mids are at the top of the nation rushing the ball, averaging 358 yards per game. Army's rushing defense is 114 out of 120 Bowl Subdivision teams.

Even. Army has a decent pass defense, ranked 91st in pass efficiency defense but 25th in passing defense. Navy's passing offense, lead by quarterback Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada, averages just 100 yards per game.

Special Teams

Army has one of the top special teams units in the nation. Army's Owen Tolson ranks sixth in the nation in punting. Field goal kicking is about equal.

Coaching
X
Paul Johnson has Navy headed toward their fifth straight bowl game. Stan Brock is 3-8 in his first season as head coach at West Point.

Prediction:
Army 34
Navy 31
