Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski will be stay with Team USA for the four years according to reports

Sources confirm that Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski has elected to remain as the head coach for Team USA through the 2010 World Championships and 2012 Olympic games in London.

The story was first reported by the Boston Globe late Tuesday night.

In his tenure as the head coach of the senior national team, Coach K has guided the team to a 36-1 record and the Gold Medal at the 2008 Olympics in China.

As far as the World Championships go, the Duke head coach has never won the tournament, finishing third in 2006 and in 1990 with a team composed solely of college players.
