Crazy calls/no calls lead to Army loss at Temple.

OFFENSIVE STAR OF THE GAME

WR No. 82 Ali Villanueva

Villanueva caught four passes for 62 yards including a 4-yard scoring reception from Trent Steelman that tied the score at 13 in the third quarter. On the season, Ali now has 16 catches for over 250 yards and four touchdowns. Villanueva's four scoring receptions encompass all of Army touchdown receptions this season.

DEFENSIVE STAR OF THE GAME

DE No. 44 Joshua McNary

Army had five sacks against Temple McNary had four of them which is pretty impressive. He single handedly moved the Temple offense back 38 yards during the game. His individual sacks were for losses of 12, 8, 7, and 11 yards. McNary should have been scored safety on one of his sacks but the officiating crew had other ideas. McNary has 9.5 sacks on the season, which is seven more than the Cadet in second place has accumulated.

UNSUNG HERO OF THE GAME

K No. 39 Alex Carlton

Carlton, a sophomore, has kicked well for Army this season. His overtime field goal against Vanderbilt last week helped net Army their third victory of season. Saturday he made 2-of-3 field goals. He's 12-of-16 for the season and has made 4-of-5 from 40 yards plus including a long kick of 51 yards. It's nice to know that the Cadets will have his services for the next two seasons.
