Black Knights rally past Keydets


OFFENSIVE STAR OF THE GAME


SB No. 5 Patrick Mealy


Mealy had a great game rushing picking up 136 yards on 16 carries. His 17-yard scoring run midway through the fourth quarter gave Army back the lead that it would never relinquish. Mealy now has 590 yards rushing for the season.

DEFENSIVE STAR OF THE GAME


FS No. 6 Donovan Travis


Travis finished the game with 12 tackles, 11 of those were solos. Travis now has 68 tackles on the season along with a team leading four interceptions.


UNSUNG HERO OF THE GAME


DE No. 96 Marcus Hilton


On VMI's last drive, on second-and-four at the Army 34, Hilton tackled the VMI slotback for no gain setting up a third-and-four situation. The Keydets then threw two straight incompletions to end the game.
