OFFENSIVE STAR OF THE GAME


WR No. 82 Alejandro Villanueva


Villanueva caught five passes for 62 yards. Playing wide receiver for the first time in his college career this season, Villanueva caught an impressive 34 passes for 5 touchdowns.

DEFENSIVE STAR OF THE GAME


LB No. 9 Steven Erzinger


Erzinger finished with 11 tackles and had a key interception that he returned for 26 yards to setup Army's only score on the game. The sophomore finished the 2009 season with 71 tackles, 7.5 tackles for losses, a sack and two defensed passses.


UNSUNG HEROES OF THE GAME


DT No. 93 Michael Gann

DT No. 62 Chris Swain


Playing in a new defensive alignment, Gann and Swain combined for 7 tackles. The duo helped harass Navy quarterback Ricky Dobbs throughout the game. Swain had a big fumble recovery and Gann a key tackle for a loss.
