Earnhardt signs with Army

Mt. Juliet senior Brady Earnhardt signed an official letter of intent to play football for Army on Wednesday, February 3, as part of High School Football's National Signing Day.

Earnhardt, a 4-year football letterman, had an outstanding career at Mt. Juliet High School rushing for over 2,000 yards, 22 touchdowns's and averaging over 7 yards per carry. One of the top athletes in this year's National Underclassman football combines, Brady's 40 time of 4.32 was the fastest recorded time in the nation for all NUC events. In addition, he has an incredible 35 bench reps at 185 lbs. A scholar athlete with a 3.52 grade point average, Earnhardt is accepting a full scholarship to West Point and looks to play the fullback position for the Army Black Knights.

Army head coach Rich Ellerson commented, "I am very excited about Brady and his future with Army football. He is pledging to join The U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the No. 1 rated college in the country, a great football team and what is the greatest fraternity in America!"

Earnhardt stated, "It's an incredible honor to be part of the long tradition of Army football. After visiting the West Point campus, it is clear that Army is the place for me. I am honored to be given this opportunity. I look forward to being a part of the Long Grey Line and support my team in any way I can."
