Let's give credit where credit is due. About a month ago, this fine website took an in-depth look at the state of the Army men's basketball team. Your favorite site for Army news also said it was a make or break year for coach Jim Crews. The Black Knights have not turned into Duke or UConn overnight, but has made some strides since our story ran.   Full Story

The state of the Army men's basketball program. We don't know how Army athletic director Kevin Anderson feels, but this is a make or break year for coach Jim Crews.   Full Story

Raise your hand if you had Bucknell and Holy Cross pegged before the season as the bottom two seeds in the Patriot League Men’s Basketball Tournament. Keep it raised if you had American and Navy as the top two seeds before a game was played this season. If your hand is still high in the air, please send me an email because you are filling out my brackets for the big dance this year.   Full Story

They're getting closer. The Army men's basketball can secure at least a .500 season with two wins in its last games. Imagine that. The Black Knights (13-7, 3-2 Patriot League) haven't had a winning season since going 16-13 in 1984-85. Two wins would give Army a 15-14 record, heading into the Patriot League tournament, which begins Feb. 28.    Full Story

With good support from the crowd, Army remains undefeated at home in the Patriot League with a tough, hard-fought 60-55 victory over the American Eagles. In the first round of the Patriot League Tournament, 8th-seeded Army played valiantly against superior competition, hanging tough with the once-nationally ranked and number 1 seed Bucknell Bison for most of the first half. However, late Bucknell runs in both halves and spotty officiating were too much to overcome. Bucknell finished Army's season with a tough 59-47 win. Army ended the season at 5-22 (1-14 in the Patriot League) with obvious hopes for improvement next season.    Full Story
